For the last several weeks, I have had an issue on Instagram where the top thumbnails don't show,(stories) and some pictures show and some don't. On Windows 10 this is not a problem. I use Firefox on both systems. I also have the Brave Browser. Brave does not even load Instagram on Windows 11. No problems with Instagram on Windows 11.
On both Windows 10 and Windows 11, I use the Ghostery ad blocker. I am wondering if that makes a difference? The thing is though. Ghostery and Instagram have worked fine for years on Windows 11. This all started around the time of the Florida Hurricanes. So I am wondering if there is a server issue with Instagram itself, or some update to Instagram that caused the thumbnails to load sporadically? But why would I not have this problem on Windows 10?
If you have the Ghostery ad blocker with Firefox on Windows 11. can you post if you are affected by this issue? strange thing is that if I play around with the arrow keys on the Instagram stories on my Windows 11 laptop. sometimes the thumbnails load. The only other site affected by Windows 11 is Yahoo's new Beta home page only loads if Ghostery is disabled. Ghostery says this is a bug, and they are working on a fix. I have cleared cookies and cache for Instagram and rebooted the Windows 11 PC to no avail.
