Ryzen 5 3400G crashes on specific 3D uses

Hello guys, I have some problem with my PC which I built myself on August 2020. Since day 1 I did some testing once I assembled all the parts I bought online and I can uses my PC without any problem (even right now I posted this using the PC) expect when playing some specific games; I tested Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain, Street Fighter V, Soulcalibur VI,Megaman 11, Doom (2016), Resident Evil 3 and Valorant and I could play all of them no problem albeit with medium settings to not overload the PC. I also tested Heroes of the Storm, League of Legend, Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, and Hellblade Senua`s Sacrifice and World of Warcraft but these games presented a black screen crash pretty much at the same point in the game like a battle against an specific enemy or a certain map location. The computer screen goes totally black and the sound playing stops, can`t use the mouse cursor and can`t open task manager or even force shutdown the PC by holding down the power button, I have to unplug the power supply for it to shutdown and then power it on again after which I cant continue using everything on the computer normally until I open these specific games again. I tested every single component (by replacing it with a borrowed one from friends and family except the Motherboard and Proccesor since no one else I know uses a Ryzen build) to make sure it was not some faulty hardware problem and the only thing that actually made the problem go away was to install an old Nvidia GPU so that Windows 10 uses that instead of the integrated graphics on the APU. tried contacting Gigabyte, AMD, and Microsoft online support for any advice to disable something that might be causing the crashes but with no luck, they all say that the problem is not something they can fix and AMD just told me to wait for new drivers to fix this issue but not a single one released since then has helped. Since I live on a country that has no market for computer parts (meaning I had to buy them on the USA and ship them internationally to my country) I can`t really RMA my APU or even buy a GPU since there is no stock anywhere online. I hope anyone has any idea on what I could do to avoid this problem while I can get a GPU.

I see a few things I would do;
1 There is a bios update that addresses onchip video. Are you running the latest bios?
2 Your AV. I would uninstall norton and use the built in windows AV. Win10 plays much better with the windows AV rather than a third party. FWIW norton security is a free download from my motherboard support page. I will not use norton even if it is free

Download and install both app center and system information viewer. Once installed, post the following info; cpu temp, 12V, 5V, and 3.3V values. Do this twice. Once under a normal load and again while running a stress test. Use any of the following for the stress test; prime95, OCCT, or Realbench [all free downloads]
Post screenshots of siv for both normal and stress test. Let the stress test run for at least 2min to stabilize temps/voltages.

When I first tested everything I did have the most recent BIOS and no AV installed. I tried all your advices and uninstalled Norton and updated the BIOS to version 33c which is the most recent one. I ran Prime95 stress test and I attach screenshots of the temps after 3 minutes of normal load and stress load once they had stabilized. I also used unigine Heaven Benchmark to stress test the iGPU and after mere seconds of running it, the computer screen crashed to black; I was monitoring the temps while running the test and CPU temps didn`t even reached 60 °C before crashing. Hope this helps in some way to determine what I could do.

Temps and voltages look fine so it is [probably] not a pw or cooling problem. Since it shutdown when doing a video test, I would start looking at the processor/video as the source of your problem. The only way you are going to be able to test this is to swap in a real video card.

The only one I have is a Nvidia GT 710 and I tried putting it on my PC. Everything runs slower due to the low performance the GPU has, but I can play all the low end games that crashed with only the iGPU. Is there anyway to know if it is a software problem I can fix or if the iGPU hardware is faulty and has no fix?

I would put my money on the processor/video. The onchip video is not really designed for gaming. These processors are intended for basic use ie running office, email, etc. While the onchip video is better now than in the past, onchip video is still generally for basic use.

I understand the APU is not designed for high end gaming, but it certainly should be able to handle low end gaming and even high end games with low settings specially since they are marketed for gamers on their own webpage.

I have even seen videos benchmarking this very same APU with the games that give me the crash so it is not something all APUs face due to high specs demmand of the games. There has got to be something I can change on my iGPU to make it stable. Would you think it can be an operating system problem and using Windows 7 can give it more stability?

I would doubt it however you can certainly try. Win7 has reached EOL and given the fact that there are NO drivers for win7 for your motherboard, I doubt win7 would be a viable alternative.
Regardless of what is marketed, APUs are not designed for gaming. They are fine for general use however not for what you are attempting to do with it.

If you want to test, here is what I would do;
1 Create a linux live usb
2 Boot the system with the linux live usb
3 Follow the instructions on this page to install gputest for linux

If it still has problems, you know it is NOT a windows/driver issue; it is a hardware problem.
