I have a IBM Laptop with Windows XP pro. I would like to reinstall it, but my computer did not come with a cd, the information is aparently on a hidden part of the hard drive. Can anyone give me instructions or links to instructions for this sort of reinstall?

If you expect people to HELP you, then you need to provide a LOT more information than THAT! WHICH MODEL of IBM Laptop do you have? IBM has a LOT of helpful information on the 'net, but you NEED to know your make and model of laptop AT LEAST before you can get started!

Use this link:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/s...typeind=10&template=/productselection/landingpages/osInstallationLandingPage.vm

and see how quickly you can figure out how to reinstall WinXP, then post back here and tell us how EASY it was, and how you're going to reinstall XP every week for a MONTH, until you become an EXPERT at it!

Good luck - HTH

You should have gotten a floppy that starts the process. Failing that, it will be an option from the BIOS setup screens. Like the previous poster said, not enough data...
