I have a HDD from an older computer and I want to read the data on it. It is a Toshiba Disk drive DT01ACA100 Drive rev AAA AA10/750 s/n 16N947FRS WK7 Cap 1.0 TB
LBA1,953,525,168 sectors CHS:16383/16/63 Rated:5V 420 mA, 12N 420mA SATA 60 Gb/sec HDKPC03A0A02 S.
It has 22 copper 'prongs' to which may be added a lead. I have such a lead and that has a USB connector on the other end. If I plug it into the computer a red and a blue light come on near the 22 'prong' connector. I cannot hear the HDD running and I do not seem to be able to tap the data on it.
I am a complete dim wit on such matters and would appreciate any help anyone can give me. Many thanks.
