Hi to all, I hope someone can help me with this strange problem, I have for quite some time been using this UPS software (UPSILON 2000) installed on my system. It never gave me any problems, even though I use a usb to serial converter it still would work flawlessly. Just recently when I turned on my PC i noticed that the UPS icon next to the taskbar had a red cross over it, I also noticed that a service named RUPSMON which corresponds to the UPS service remains on 'starting' mode. I tried to stop it and restart it but I would get an error 1053 the software did not respond in a timely fashion
I have removed and re-installed the software several times, I used ccleaner to maybe delete any registry keys left there but to no avail every time i install the software it remains stuck on the dreaded starting service & never starts.
Is there someone who maybe has experienced a similar issue please I really would appreciate to get this software up & running again.
