I have an Acer Travelmate 803LCI laptop running windows XP.
It has been experiencing power management problems ie, the battery is showing 33% charge but then shuts down without warning of low power. After a crash due to the battery runing down I am unable to get past the intial bios readout. I am instructed to press F2 to enter the setup program but pressing this or any other key has no effect and I am unable to get into the setup or windows program.
I am unable to boot from the system and recovery CD's.
Is this a windows, BIOS or hardware problem? Any help appreciated.
