My guess would be that the firewall install was faulty.
My first action would be to run CHKDSK /F against your disk to correct any disk errors and see if that sorts it.
If not go back to Last Known Good, or restore to a restore point prior to the firewall install.

What firewall are you trying??

 

i am using pc tools firewall plus 7.0

but when i goes to uninstall this software it shows me that message and goes shut down. how to uninstall it from my laptop.

Did you try the last known good option when booting?

 

sir yes and i alro tried these options Last known good configuration, SAFE MODE, CHKDSK /P /R. But also showing that message.

Here's a fairly comprehensive set of instructions that I've just found and read through. They seem to cover your case as one of the other ones.
Try the CHKDSK /R
Try the FiXBOOT etc. though I doubt that is the problem.
You want to use the restore point bits and choose a point before the install of that Firewall.

now i have installed windows xp in partition 2 but i have not setups of my installed softwares e.g MICROSOFT OFFICE2007, IGI2 etc. how can i install those softwares from C DRIVE to D DRIVE.
