I just bought a new printer(HP 2000) and everything is working just fine except one little thing. On my old printer(HP 2400) I automatically got preview before printing which saved me a lot of ink and paper as well. Now I forgot how to set that option again. Please help this old fool! Thanks!

What program are you trying to print from? Word, Notepad? Something else?

What version of Word are you using? I use Word 2010 and it automatically displays the preview on the Print Selection screen.

When you select print, click on Properties next to the selected printer. open the Features tab, put a check mark in Show Preview Before Printing. You can also use the Print Preview before selecting print.

I finally got the chance to check it on the one computer I have with Office 2007 on it. this computer also has an HP Printer on it. This is where I found the details that I posted.

It should be there, I have Word 2007, with an HP Printer, and a Canon printer and both of them have the same tabs available when I select Properties next to the printer.

After the long e-mailing with the people from HP I discovered that this version of printer software doesn't include "Show preview before print" option! They apologized and said that if any new software is available, they will let me know. So all this discussion was about nothing! Anyway, thank"s all:) you guys for trying to help!
