Hi, the dism command util in seven has always been a poor performer, it is much improved in 8. You should be able to repair the component store with the dism cmd. run the attached .zip file it will return a .bat file right click on this and select "run as administrator" when complete, restart computer.

Next:-

Open a cmd as administrator go to start, search and type:- cmd right click on the returned cmd.exe and select "run as administrator" at the cmd prompt run:-

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth press enter.

Run sfc /scannow from an elevated cmd prompt (as shown above)

 

What is the original problem you're trying to fix ?

How els to fix them?

 

Hi, autoruns just reports on items set to start upon boot, many of them do not need to run, so they are not a problem, it is a record only, not a error tool. Did you try the fix in post #3. You do need to be able to run a sfc check.

 

Sfc /scannow still wont work even after post #3.

Can you confirm the model name and model number of your Dell?

I hope you right clicked the cmd and selected run as administrator otherwise sfc /scannow will refuse to run.
