I see 2 issues that need to be addressed if you're going to game with that HP desktop.

RAM: 2012 Mb
It needs another 2 GB(2048 MB) of RAM.

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS, 256 Mb
It needs a better video card.

Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard, 0AA8h
That appears to be a 2007 - 2008 model HP desktop.

What is its model name and model number?

What is the part/product number(P/N) on it?

model name: HP Compaq dc7800 Small Form Factor
That computer has only a 240 watt power supply, so that's another issue with gaming.

Some of the hardware and gaming experts here will agree with me when we tell you that computer is not designed for nor has sufficient cooling ability for gaming.

With an HP machine of that age you are potentially putting yourself into a world or problems trying to upgrade it. You will almost definately get infinately better results by putting the money into a new machine.

You probably pick up a 2nd hand machine that is better in every aspect for about $300-$400, you could easily spend that and more trying to upgrade and get worse results!
