I'm not sure why, but recently Amazon.com has required an OTP code at least everyday, if not multiple times per day. It's only this site that this is occurring on. I'm using chrome, and no VPN. MY IP is the same everytime I am accessing the site. Any help is appreciated.

Check if you have turned on - two step verification
in your account
login and security

also is this for purchases on amazon or some other aspect of amazon
You need to provide more detail

also the
"don't require OTP for this browser."
places a cookie on the browser so if you clear cookies it will not work

This is for Amazon seller central log in, as well as Amazon KDP. I have not cleared cookies for quite some time.

I did log in on my laptop in a different location 2 weeks ago, but since then I have used the same device in the same location, same IP, no VPN, no incognito mode. I am really not sure why this happens everyday.

I suggest you ask the experts
AMAZON

seller accounts are quite different to normal AMAZON purchase accounts

What COURIANT has suggested may WELL be correct
Have you tried a different browser? I know Chrome (in my experience) can be finicky
HOWEVER I would urge you not to try a different browser, UNLESS you have previously logged into your Amazon SELLERS account and your Kindle Direct Publishing Amazon account with that different browser.

I still say the way forward is to contact AMAZON
If this requirement for the ONE TIME PASSWORD is for some reason being required because AMAZON suspect something amiss with the account - YOU MAY FIND yourself locked out by Amazon and unable to access your sellers account - which I presume would be more than just a minor inconvenience.

To answer questions - it usually requires it every morning, when I pull up the login page the first time of the day. It stays logged in the rest of the day. Sometimes will stay logged in 2 days. But usually 1x per day I go through the OTP step. It is only with Amazon, and this actually only began being a regular occurence about 1 month ago. No idea why.

I did ask amazon seller support, which wasnt that helpful. Just said some things about cookies, logging in from a different IP, and other things that do not apply to me.

Are you able to see any attempts to log in from different geolocations? Other than that, it sounds to be a security timeout that may have been changed for those Amazon sites. I now recall a while ago when I was ordering from my wife’s account, even though she was showing logged it, it prompted for a username and password.
