I just talked to a friend who has XP home. It should have prompted you to create accounts during the install. These should have shown up on the welcome screen when the computer boots.

I can tell you how to reset the admin passwords with a boot disk but I dont really like doing that for new users.

For all I know you are trying to hack someone elses computer.

If you just got done reinstalling, I would just try reinstalling again and make sure you create some accounts during install.

Here is a really good guide on install XP home.

You do not need to reinstall if you forgot the admin password.

There is a boot disk you can download at:
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html

that will let you reset the password of any account on NT4, Windows2000 or XP.

Just follow all the default settings which are for the admin account. Used it many
times with great success.

They also have a bootable CD image you can download.
