When I set up my new computer a few months ago I had trouble getting Zune to install but using the compatability tab I got it to install and work. As of 2 or 3 days ago my Zune player will not connect to the Zune program. This has also happened on another computer that was upgraded from Win 10. I have removed any Microsoft updates from the last week and tried every solution or "fix" I can find on the web. I have tried reinstalling the driver but get a message that drivers have been found but can't load. Does anyone else have this problem? I now use my phone for my music but like to keep my Zune up to date as a backup storage for my music files.

Considering that Microsoft stopped supporting Zune for almost a decade, I wouldn't be surprised if stopped working. From what I can tell the Zune program is 32bit only and wasn't supported for Windows 10. The fact that there will be a fix (supposedly) for Windows 10 and Windows 11 is truly astonishing.

Well people still use Zune either as an mp3 player or as a place to store files. As long as it works - use it.
I never dispose of any hardware (except very old Windows computers) if the item works.

We are still using 3 analog tvs in our home. The 13" kitchen tv which I watch daily was purchased in 1991. I'm sure it is older than posters here at the forum.

As I said in my first post Zune worked when I first set up my new Win 11 but quit after MS downloaded new up dates. I removed the updatess but it still did not run. Today I decieded to reset the the computer because of other problems and guess what? It works now but it will probably stop if MS has anything to do with it.
