Locked out of my Mega.nz app account

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone could help at all. For the last few months, I've been uploading my photos to the Mega.nz app. I changed my password in July and stupidly misplaced it. Now, I'm logged out of my account, with no password and no recovery key. Has anyone any idea what I can do to try gain access - ethically - back to my account? Thanks!

Go here https://mega.nz/login and click "Forgot Your Password?" then follow the prompts

Hi,

I've done that, and it says I need my recovery key to gain back access, which I don't have. My only option is to park my account which I don't want to do I appreciate the help though

I understand that you're looking for an "ethical" way to recover the account so I will won't close the thread as we normally do with password issues. Please report back if you hear from them.

Yes absolutely, I am looking for a purely ethical way of sorting the issue. I will update on the situation if I hear back from Mega. Thanks!

They don't have access to your data. It requires your password or recovery key.

Not trying to pile on, but saving the recovery key is like the first two or three prompts when creating an account.
