My has an on-going problem with his Toshiba Laptop. When his first charger/cord died, it was still under warranty, so Toshiba sent him a new one. That one also broke, and he bought a new one. That one lasted about 2 weeks, and it has again broken. The LED indicator on it does not light up.
Is the battery frying the chargers??? Or is something else happening? It won't make much sense to keep buying new chargers every few weeks...
