JUNO email

There are two files in my Sent folder that get the following message when I try to view them:

FOLDER FULL

Juno is unable to display your message, because your current folder is full. Please restart Juno and then delet some messages from this folder.

When I try to delete these two files, I get the following error message:

DELETE MESSAGE

Juno was unable to delete the selected message. Please restart Juno and try again.

The two files remain in the Sent folder.

When I try to delete other messages from the Sent folder, they get moved to the Deleted folder, but after that is executed, I get the following error message:

DISPLAY FOLDER

Couldn't save folder 'Sent Items' to disk. Please free some disk space and try again.

When I try to exit JUNO altogther, I get the following message:

EXIT JUNO

There is not enough disk space to save changes to your data. Do you want to exit anyway? Data may be lost. Click 'yes' to exit. Click 'No' to try saving your data again. If you want to free some disk space, leave this message up while you do so.

Clicking 'No' won't do anything. Clicking 'Yes' gets rid of the error window and closes Juno.

When I reopen Juno, those messages I tried deleting reappear in the Sent folder!!

Of the 4 or 5 years I have been using Juno, I have never encountered these error windows. Recently, Juno lowered their email storage capacity for their members. Don't know if that has anything to do with this. PLEASE HELP!!!

Check your settings and make sure that you do not have "leave email on the server" selected. This setting overrides deletion and although you cannot see the email, it is taking space and prevebting you from doing things.

Juno is a haven for slow modems and connections (2400 to 9600) and they are attenting to make members upgrade but didnt say how they were going to enforce it. Just a thought.

Also, I don't know if this helps, but there are five information columns in Juno Sent email folder: Attachments column, To: column, Subject column, Date column, and Status column. For the two above-mentioned emails, all columns are completely blank, except for the Status column. Each time I open the folder, it says "New" for the two emails. All other emails say "Sent" in the Status column. I have no clue as to what these two emails were.

Also, the two "unknown" sent emails appear consecutively between email sent on 9/22/02 and email sent on 9/23/02.

I have it set so that JUNO empties the deleted email folder upon exiting the software. This function also deletes the email permanently from the computer. Before this problem, no windows would pop up when I hit 'close." Now when I close JUNO I always get the EXIT JUNO window I described above.
