what was the reason for resetting BIOS which I presume means - load optimal defaults

Go back into BIOS and check what is shown as boot device
If it is windows 10 and the BIOS is UEFI you want windows boot manager

Yep it was restore defaults because i had lot of errors at startup - mostly related to battery tho.

How can i try to switch from legacy to uefi? Dont see that option in bios

And yeah its gpt partition, cant reinstall windows on it. So if no fix i need to format it?

Managed to switch to uefi but now i need to f9 and boot from efi file each time and then windows will boot

how please did you do that
you should now have an entry for windows boot manager in firmware
what does F9 do is that the one time boot menu
if so whatever you choose there needs to be set in bios - as the first boot device

Found option to enable UEFI in windows but i only get option to load fron f9 where i need to navigate to bootx64.efi file. Normal boot on notebook hdd still gives same error...
In cmd bootrec /fixboot gives "access denied" error.
