How do I Find My Microphone in my Android Text

Hello

I am having a problem with my cellphone. It is a Samsung galaxy a23. It has no microphone icon when I text
I have to record my sentence on tape and send it that way with recipient listening to my voice. This is very bad if I am a place with background noice. How do I find my microphone icon?

Yesterday I tried to solve this probem. Attached to this post are four pics

Pic 1 is of a problem I installed. It doesn't do anything if I press it
Pic 2 is of my home page there are three search bars and none of them should be there.
Pic 3 is of a new program I installed. It is supposed to be next to the CLOCK icon. It says CONNECT SMS HOME PAGE. I don't know if I should press it or not
Pic 4 is what it looks like if I try respond to a text. As you can see there is no mic icon.,

How can I fix this. I need to
1 Find my microphone icon on my text
2 Get rid of those three search bars
3 Rid myself of that Default SMS app that does nothing
4 Decide if I want to press the button that says "Decide SMS home page."

1. In cell 4.jpg, you have to click in the text box, then your mic icon will show.
2. Long press on the search bar. Either choose remove or slide to the trash bin that appears.
3. If its a Samsung app that came with the phone, you can't remove it.
4. I don't completely understand what you mean.

I don't get any microphone icon if I press the search bar. Long pressing it doesn't make any difference.

At 1. My instruction doesn't state to press the search bar it says, press the text box.

2. Long pressing the search bar does nothing? Hold your finger on the search bar, don't lift your finger. Nothing happens? You can't move the search bar while pressing it?
