I have a WIN 98 machine here at work that has had this scanner hooked into it for the last year I've worked here. It's worked fine.
Recently I had to unplug the scanner from this computer and install it on an iMAC running OS 9.2.2. It installed fine. Everything worked until the time came to try and scan something, the second I tried to scan something the computer would act like the scanner doesn't exist anymore, even after identifying it with the scanner testing utility.
I tried installing it on a completely different mac, but to no avail, the same error occured.
Finally, I brought it back to the original WIN 98 machine it has always worked on, then the computer wouldn't recognize the scanner. I reinstalled it on here, and then it would recognize it, but then it crashes the second I use the scanner, it revs itself up to scan, then promptly stops and errors occur. This is what happened on the macs as well.
What can I do to rectify this?
