I'm replacing the hard drive in my Dell Dimension L-series. I can't add another one because there is only one bay. I Know how to physically change it. My question is how do I transfer all the info from my old hard drive to the new one. Step by step, please someone.

just because there is one bay does not mean you can't put it in. Put the operating system of preference on the new harddrive. Then upon doing that you can set that as primary master or whatever the harddrives company calls it and make the other harddrive secondary. It will boot to new one but the old harddrive will be in windows explorer. then transfer what you need.
