i am up to the last boss in the game but i can't seem to kill it no matter how much i shoot it. i know that i need to shoot it until it's head opens up but what do i do after that? and his head doesn't stay open very long. i'm thinking that something needs to be thrown into it's head, like grenades or do i need to keep shooting it?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

The idea here is to destroy the three triangles. You have to use the bounce craters to get high enough to nail the last one and then start shooting at Nihilanth's big ole head. After enough hits his head opens up and you need to send a couple detpacks, grenades, or yourself inside there to destroy his brain. Good luck, you will need it!

thanx for that. i actually finished it after i logged off the net. i don't know why i made this post. i looked on planethalf-life.com in the walkthrough section and it told me how to do it. thanx anyway.

use the remote mines to throw and run then detonate when his head closes

i just used some grenades and the shotgun. then when he was down to only being able to fire one blue magic ball thingy it was much easier to get close to him to be able to throw grenades into his head. man when he got killed it was so funny, all those colors coming out of his head :haha:
