Anyone knows where to get the Firefox download for XP-PRO 32Bit? I went to Mozilla site and found Firefox for XP-PRO but it says not the right system when I tried to install. Perhaps it was for 64Bit? I don’t know

Thanks

I no longer test Windows XP SP3 32-bit, so I'm not sure if the Maxthon and MyPal browsers still support it.
6.1.2.3000 is the most current version of the Maxthon browser.
29.3.0 was the last version of the MyPal browser before its development was stopped several months ago.
Both browsers work fine in Windows Vista SP2 32/64-bit - which I still test.

The Firefox archive has this file. Is this an offline installer?

Name: Firefox Setup 43.0.exe
Size: 43M
Date: 14-Dec-2015 19:31

Index of /pub/firefox/releases/43.0/win32/en-US/
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/43.0/win32/en-US/

There is also this version which is supposed to be the last version for Windows XP.

Name: Firefox Setup 52.9.0esr.exe
Size: 43M
Date: 25-Jun-2018 08:56

Index of /pub/firefox/releases/52.9.0esr/win32/en-US/
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/52.9.0esr/win32/en-US/

I got the first link 43.0 which is 44MB and from its size I will say its a full install and not an installer. The XP-PRO I have is service pack2 and will only take v43.0. I will give it a try when I'm in my desktop tonight.
Many thanks to all

The Firefox v43.0 was a good choice because it installed successfully in my XP-PRO 32bit. However I still have no access to internet.

The XP-PRO is installed in a VirtualBox on a Linux Desktop but although the Desktop has access to the internet thru a WiFi I can’t get the Desktop to access internet and I read an article saying to ditch the old internet explorer, install FF and that will fix my problem.

But still no luck, if anyone has a trick pls let me know

You are wasting your time downloading different browsers.
When in XP.
Open cmd prompt type ping apple.com Enter
If you get time out you have a network card setup issue.
Pic attached you can see xp start button and internet explorer

What settings did you use for network adapter in Virtual Box.
Have you checked xp device manager to see if network card has drivers

All devices in device mgr are unabled and working good. On the guest I selected “Attached to NAT” and also tried “Bridged”. For adapter type I selected Intel PRO/1000 T Server and I also tried PCNet FAST III (Am 79C973). The Host WiFI works well (belongs to my home network including 3 other laptops & all working well). The problem is the Guest doesn’t recognize / access the Host.

I know zilch about linux - Only play with it.
In Virtual box settings>Network is enable Network adapter ticked on all tabs.
can you put Adapter 3 Host only adapter> vb Host only Ethernet adapter

This thread is in the OS section of this forum and since now we started talking about networks it will be much better to start a new thread in the networks section and provide specific details.

Thanks to all for the help
