My boss wants me to find the unlisted phone number of one of our customers who Owes us money, and has been avoiding his calls and the calls of collection agencies. Is their anyway to find an unlisted phone number on the web for free, i see sites that charge like 50 bucks and so on, but any free ones?

I wouldn't want my unlisted phone number given out to anyone ...if I had one of course ;)....in these days and times some people have worse ulterior motives than the person owes them money!

I remember hesitating answering the phone when the caller ID said it was a government call! :D

Didnt have any luck with the zaba one, I see alot of these pay sites that say they can track down a person, Im assuming this will be what the owner wants to do since a few bucks to potentially get the thousands owed is a small price to pay.

Any one know a good one to try?

I don't know of any. I think you might be between a rock and a hard place anyway. Say you get the number?? All the person has to do on the other end is hang up on you and then block the number you called from. Sure you can use another line and call back but then the person can get a number change claiming harrassment so you would be back to square one.

If the person has made up his/her mind not to pay you will have to drag them into court and try to get a judgement. Then they "might" pay. There is no such thing as debters prison so all you can really do is jack their credit. Deadbeats don't care about that either really. Good luck anyway.

Im not the one after the guy, the owner just wants to call him up to screw with him I think. Hes hired collection agencies etc. with no luck. The thing that got to him is that this guys company actually tried to place a COD order with us, like nothing was wrong.

Well I would think any collection agencies would be able to find out more then you could so if they can not find other unlisted phone number then your not going to either.

Then Skivvywaver said it best too in what can happen and what your have to do.
