Is this a work laptop connecting to a work computer?I can sign on to the remote desktop on my laptop
A mac address not a mac computer. What Mac?
Companies normally use this to stop noncompany computers from accessing the networkA MAC (Media Access Control) address, sometimes referred to as a hardware or physical address, is a unique, 12-character alphanumeric attribute that is used to identify individual electronic devices on a network. An example of a MAC address is: 00-B0-D0-63-C2-26
Exactly what I have been trying to find out.PC you're trying to connect to at the other end?
I think you need to check the settings for RDP on the windows 11 computer
If the Windows 11 computer does have the check on the - only allow etc RDP with Network level authentication - checked then that may be the problem
It is quite possible that as you could use the windows 7 computer before, that an update to 11 on the works computerIf the Network Level Authentication option is enabled, the older versions of remote desktop clients can’t be used to connect the latest Windows Operating Systems.
