Disappearing Word "Properties"

I frequently add Word Document properties so to simplify redundant info across many Word "sections" (like "Company" Name" in footers). But often, upon re-opening a large document file (over 300 pages), some of the properties entered have disappeared. I've solved that by having the info quickly available on the first page, copying, and then re-inserting it in the "Info - Properties - show all properties" box (since "Company" isn't a default property), but things like "Title" or the "Subject" don't go away. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong (this didn't used to happen - no changes recently that I'm aware of). I'm in a Windows 10 computer using "MS Office 365 ProPlus" 64-bit, with Word version 2003.

Hiya

Not sure if this will help, but if you go to the Options in Word, then click on Trust Center, and then in the new popup, select Privacy Options.

If the "Remove personal information from file properties on save" is ticked, try unticking it, and see if that works. You may need to re-add the details after, and test when closed.

Thanks
