D-Link DWL-2100AP won't reset to factory defaults.

I'm trying to rest my D-Link DWL-2100AP to factory settings so that I can put a WEP key on the wireless and gain router control... I followed the D-Link page on resetting the range of models that includes mine to no avail. I held down the button for 10 seconds, and waited a bit. Yet I still can't connect to the router's supposed default IP (192.168.0.50). I also tried a large range of other router IPs that I have previously used on it.

Additionally, all the sites say to wait for the WLAN light to stop blinking. I waited... and waited... and waited... Didn't stop.

Any ideas? :D

It's not a router. Nonetheless, its default IP is 192.168.0.50 and if it won't reset to factory default settings it is defective. My only suggestion is to unplug it for several hours and then try the reset to factory defaults again.
