can't install nero

i wanted to install my nero since i was fixing my OS. the folder of Ahead was there in the program files but i cant open the application. i tried insstalling it using the bundled software but it says remove the older version first. i cant find it in Add/Remove programs so i deleted the folder in the program files and erarsed everything that says nero or ahead in the registry keys. now still it says to remove the older version.

i dont know what to do next. can you guys help me? please.

You may want to try using Nero's Clean Up Utilities. Use the General Clean Tool first.

try cleaning the registry using this: http://www.worldstart.com/weekly-do.../regcleaner.exe its highly efficient.
