I have a chromebook and I'm trying to create a bootable USB for it using Balena Etcher. I'm using this article as a guide:

I get stuck on step 2 where it says to install the file with Linux. When I do, I see this:

It tells me "Failed to retrieve app info" and the install button is disabled.
When I google this error, I came across a site that said I need to start Penguin (the default Linux container), and I can see what containers I have on my Chromebook by typing "lxc list". But when I do so, I see no containers. Is this the issue?
Please help me figure out how I can start Balena Etcher so I can create a bootable USB. Thanks.
