Hey everyone,

I have no idea exactly how to post all the information related to the crash, but here is what I can post:

070121-13687-01.dmp 7/1/2021 6:11:28 PM 0x00000124 00000000`00000000 ffffd20f`70bbe028 00000000`bc800800 00000000`060c0859 PSHED.dll PSHED.dll+15b0 Platform Specific Hardware Error Driver Microsoft® Windows® Operating System Microsoft Corporation 10.0.19041.1 (WinBuild.160101.0800) x64 ntoskrnl.exe+3f6b90 C:\Windows\Minidump\070121-13687-01.dmp 32 15 19041 5,843,316 7/1/2021 6:13:32 PM

The bsod only happens when I game, but not always. Sometimes it doesn't do anything. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it! In addition here is the dmp file related to the crash:

Hi, Let us have some Pc specifications.
Check and post
TSG System Information Utility - found here.
http://static.techguy.org/download/SysInfo.exe
======
The dump files from google drive are not loading correctly - so do the following.
Create a new folder on the desktop and call it dumpfiles [or something similar]
Look in c:\windows\minidump
Copy the last 4 minidump files to that folder.

Close the folder and right click on it and select Send To Compressed [zipped] Folder.
Windows will compress the file and then save the new zipped file in the same location.
Attach the zip folder by using the 'Upload a File' button.

As you can see from your first post PSHED.DLL is related to Platform Specific Hardware Error Driver and may be caused by faulty hardware, system files are corrupted and incompatible drivers.
While I check the mindump files do the following.

First run DISM.exe and then System File Checker.
In the search box type > cmd
Right click > Select Run as administrator
In the Command Prompt window
Type [copy and paste]
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
Press Enter.

Let it run to completion, it may take some time and keep the command prompt window open.
After you see a message that says 'The operation completed successfully'
In the Command Prompt window.
Now type [copy and paste] sfc /scannow
Press Enter.
Again let it run until it has completed the scan.
Restart your pc and let us know if it has helped.

Updating your AMD drivers may help.

Some other reasons for Blue Screens
New hardware - Software installed.
Device driver - Video driver - corrupted - faulty.
Faulty Ram - Overheating - Dying hard drive, etc.

Also check for overheating especially if it crashes when playing games.

======
Run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and then sfc /scannow.
See my previous post.
Update AMD drivers and check for overheating and report back if any of the above helps.

So I did some researching. Apparently the Ryzen 5000 series cpus have whea 18 error problems. This is what is causing the reboots while gaming, not a driver crash. The problem seems to have been going on since the 5000 series came out.

One fix that I found to work ok is from MSI. They say to just increase the vcore off set by +0.05. So far that seems to work. Oddly, the problem isn't caused directly from gaming. Instead, it happens when the cpu is idle or running light loads. If I had to guess, there is maybe a voltage problem with the cores the cpu chooses to run lightly threaded apps. It might be too little, which is why vcore off set increase was suggested.

Another fix I found is to RMA the cpu. Some people have found success in doing so. But for some, months later the problem occurs again.
