I am not sure if this is the right forum for this but here goes.... I have most of my pictures in my computer in a program called Kodak EasyShare which came with some pictures that I had put on CD. Sometimes I would like to attach pictures to emails I send but when I click on the "Attachments" options in OE, the pictures in Kodak EasyShare are not there and I can't find them by browsing. Does anyone know how I can find and attach the pictures in Kodak EasyShare when I want to attach them to emails? Thanks in advance.

Check out the instructions in this Kodak Easy Share tutorial on how to email pictures.

As I vaguely recall, Kodak Easy Share doesn't make it all that easy to share the pictures if you try to use your email program's attach feature. That's because when you load the pictures into Easy Share, it puts them in a folder that's in a folder that's in yet another folder in either your My Documents folder or in Program Files>Kodak Easy Share (I've only messed with the program once and all I remember for sure is how deeply it buried the pictures). Unless you're familiar with how to drill down through the file structure to Easy Share's default folders, it's probably easier to use Easy Share's own email feature.

What I do with my photos from my Kodak EasyShare camera is remane them and put the new ones in a seperate folder from the originals. That way I don't even worry about the original ones that I downloaded from the camera afterwards. They can even be deleted. And it avoids the problems you are talking about.

For example, Sat, I downloaded 40 pictures off my camera. I uploaded 40 pictures without trouble to a yahoogroups, None of them were the original that came from the camera cause I had gone in and renamed every one of them as a *Save As* which left the original hanging around. So the originals got shoved into a second folder and will sit there out of the way. And I may or may not delete them. Liz
