Zoom: multimedia audio not audible to other participants

Hi everyone, I just came for a follow up of this thread.

I tried to fix the issue with Zoom support during this period, but it was quite unhelpful since the best they told me is there may be a compatibility issue. I also tried to download a new version, 5.7.4 (804), without success. I still don't want to give up and I do believe there may be some computer settings that could be changed, but I hope to receive more help than the official support.

The only time I share audio is when I play a video while sharing my screen.
To share audio I have to select the Share sound checkbox before I click the Share button.

Hello again!

To recap, the issue is that when you are presenting from PowerPoint, the participants cannot hear the audio portions of it. You have tried other audio providers like YouTube, and VLC without success.

At the time, you had updated versions of Zoom and Microsoft Office.

I was the last person that posted where I asked you were also being affected when sharing, as in the participants couldn't hear you, is that the case?

What Office version and Zoom version do you have now?

Hi, nice to see you again.
Zoom version is still 5.7.4 (804) and I still have Microsoft Office 365 version 18.2106.12410.0.
