i can click on all other programs on my desktop, other messengers work like aim and msn

but yahoo messenger does not even open when i double click on it

anybody know the possible problem and how to fix this asap??

Do you get an error message, or just nothing happens?
It's a small download, i would first try reinstalling Yahoo Messenger, and if you have the same problem, start looking into the settings of your firewall.

nothing happens

the arrow on my cursor has a small hour glass next to it for a few seconds but thats it
