I have installed Yahoo! Messenger for my brother so that when he logs on it will notify him instantly of new mail in his Yahoo! Mailbox. I have a Hotmail account so I am not familiar with the settings of Yahoo!

I want it to load up in the system tray automatically when he logs on.

I want it to sign him in automatically.

I don't want it to try and engage the dialup connection just wait until my brother dials up manually and detect the connection.

I don't want the Yahoo! window to show only stay in the system tray at all times.

Can anybody tell me the necessary settings I'll need to modify to achieve this?

once you are logged go to
login-preferences-general tab, then you should be able to set it up there.
