I've been going crazy trying to install "control pad" on Verizon dial up installation disk. I keep getting an error from the installation wizard stating it cannot find Windows Media Player on my Xp. I even re-installed WMP 10. Verizon says they never heard of problem before, it has to be my XP. Any Ideas? I have also had a lot of lock-ups and crashes since I installed Verizon dial-up 4. It's only 3 days and I'm ready to give it the heave. Has anyone expieranced this instalation problem and is there a cure.

unistall verizon, and see if you can install the other thing.

ask verizon to send you a new install disk....mine was a dud

Thanks rosh, since I can down load and install everything else I was begining to figure it had to be their software.
