Xp Wipe Installation Problems

I have no audio or able to load up games so I figured a wipe of my hard drive and re-install would be easiest.

I restart the pc with the windows xp installation disk in the drive.

i hold f11 and select run from disk.

Then it asks me if i want to repair something else and install xp which i click on.

I get the the agreeing license and it says press f8 to agree to licence and for some reason nothing happens. I can press esc to leave it fine but even if i hold f8 for 1 min nothing happens :S

If your keyboard has an "F-lock" key try pressing it before F8.
