Hey Guys,

Been trying to get my head around this one. Running Windows 2000 domain with xp clients. Its an internet cafe so its the same accounts people always logon to. I'm trying to find out if the "friendly" xp welcome screen can be made to work on a domain? Or if theres a good software bundle that can control it for me.

Basically i want to allow customers to come in, see the account "internet", click it and happy days.

Can't be done with XP, but the beta versions of Windows Vista were able to do this. Not sure on the RTM version.

Well i know it can cos we got a young fella in and he designed his own model, which is working on the network. Problem is he didn't leave his code behind and the specific accounts are hard coded into the program. And i need to change the user profiles. So it can be done at least by modding the gina.dll file, also ROHAS have a sorta system which works, unfortunately it involves having a usb key permanently in the back of each pc
