Here's a heads up. I had terrible trouble getting XP to work with older modems. I also purchased a Zoom and Creative Labs V.92 modems, both of them did not work. I then tried a USB 56K FaxModem V.90 and it works great in XP and 98SE. I took me over a week off and on to find one that worked.
