Hello, after months of reminders, I finally downloaded XP service pack 2 to my HP Pavilion 7935 (1.3 GHz Athlon, 512MB RAM, 40GB HD). The system now reboots automatically every time it leaves the Windows XP logo screen. No error messages or anything, it just keeps rebooting. I have tried starting in all safe mode options with the same result. I don't have a separate XP CD, on the HP provided restore files on a separate hard drive partition. Can anyone tell me how to access and run the Windows restore app in this partition without starting Windows - ie by command line or some other means? Thanks
