xp keeps timing out...

Hello, I am having troubles playing media files, says need to download v9, so sent me to a page to load and I try down loading media 9 and keeps closing saying timed out, how do I get to stop timing out? thanks ron

using dsl for connection..

What is the URL you are using?

You may be able to download it from another site and you can order it from Microsoft, which is cheap.
