xp keeps restarting

been working on computers for several years.... but not much experiance with Win XP.

System info:
intel p4 1.6 ghz
40 gig
640 mb pc 133
Nvidia GeForce4 Ti 4400

Problem: Windows XP Home edition keeps restarting.

I've tried: New Power supply, new video card drivers, different ram, windows updates

It is still keeps restarting.

Any ideas?

you lost me on that one.... i looked at those articles but have no idea what to do.

Please help
Sounds to me like the article says to uncheck the box that makes it restart when such an error occurs(it will give you an error) and/or to look at the "Event Viewer" to find the cause.

Exactly, you want to see if you can get a meaningful error message to work with. If "automatically restart" is checked, you won't see it. You should also be able to look at the event viewer under system errors. Right click on any red errors and select "properties".
