Hello,
I have a Windows Xp pro machine with a .vbs file that for some reason everytime I try to run it I get a
"There is no Script engine for file extension".vbs error
Now before Xp wasn't even associating the file with .vbs extension but I went to view+folder+options+file types+vbs script file+Advanced+Open+Edit and changed the action(It was blank before) and put in the "application used to perform action:"
(I got the path from another xp pro machine that recoginized .vbs extensions) and hit ok and now when I try to run the .vbs extension I get the above error message.
Do I need to edit the registry at all?
I do not have much experience in this area so any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks!
