OKay, well that log looks clean, so I suggest trying to run an online virus scan from the following link.

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp

PS: You may remove this item from HJT by checking it and clicking on fix

online virus scan detects nothing, any other suggestions???
If you are still having problems, TDS3 could be an option.

Next, go and download TDS from here and update following the instuctions on this page.

Please start and new thread with and post a HJT log. post the link to your thread there and ill be glad to help.
I'm not sure if anyone reading this has had any success in removing this virus completely, but the problem i'm having is the same as these two. The thing is, simply deleting the files will not cause the virus to dissapear, because it enters through open ports. I've found that with this virus, much like it's sister-virus Blaster, if you are using windows XP, you can turn on the Internet Connection Firewall in the connection settings for your internet connection. This will block whichever port the virus is using to crawl back in. However, i'm pretty pissed off because I'm using dialup, and there should be no need for me to be using an internet firewall - i notice that things run slower, like network connections on IRC. Anyway, this will solve your problem untill this damn thing internally combusts in June 2004, so let's all wait and see, shall we?

If you aren't using Windows XP, you might think about buying a firewall program such as ZoneAlarm. I would also assume hardware firewalls contained in internet routers will work as well.

I also recommend downloading and running Stinger, which will remove not only the virus files for Blaster and this varient, but the some of the other registry stetings it may have changed, etc etc.
