Product Key

"Type the 25-character CD-ROM Key number. It is located on your Certificate of Authenticity or the yellow sticker on the back of the CD-ROM jewel case."

I don't have the jewel case anymore, and re-intsalled the disc on my new computer. Any way I can get the code?

I don't have M$ Works, but I do have M$ Office which has Word . The product ID's are listed in the Registry under

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\ MS Word for Windows

You should have something similar for M$ works. Just look for Works and click each folder until you see a Product ID in the right pane.

You could try Keyfinder. It will give the product key for both Windows and Office installed on your computer so it might give you the one for Works, too.

Oops...misread the original post. Keyfinder only works when the OS and/or Office is already installed.
