I tried something which didn't work. Next I used Agent Ransack to search for Default.rtf which "should" be the settings it opens to. I wasn't even able to find that. I was hoping to find it and perhaps modify some things.

My advice: use another better program that lets you open to the font, size and spacing you want so you don't have to waste time editing it every time it opens.
Abiword, Jarte, Notepad++, and others like these.

In Windows 7 there is no "Signatures" folder
