Hi,

This may be a multi-dimensional problem, so I'm going back a little. I just installed a new motherboard, a Chaintech, after an MSI apparently got fried. I had been attempting to put a multi-boot system on it with Partition Magic.
When I rebooted with my new mobo, I'm getting not only C and D (the two drives I have), but also E, F, and G. Thus, my CD Player and the DVD burner are H and I. I already downloaded a program LetterChanger (? dpn't even know that that's the name), but the PC is apparently recognizing ghost drives with 60 GBs and 35 GBs. C has 60 GBs and D has 4GBs. Last night I put Boot Magic on the OS, but when I went to boot this morning, it booted into Safe Mode, and then it won't start the windows start up now, but it boots into DOS.
I aborted the DOS boot and am getting this message:

Preparing Machine to load Win9x or MsDOS

Error 8255

Error writing Master Boot Record

Press any ket to reboot

I was thinking about going in to DOS and deleting Boot Magic, and then reinstalling it; but perhaps the problem is a bit more complicated? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Xico :D
