hi

i am having a few problems with my wireless network. I get an excellent signal and 54Mpbs speed, but i get a message saying "limited or no connectivitiy", no one else in my house is affected by this, i have read up a bit on about this on google, and people believe it is an sp2 problem but i don't beleive it is someone else in my house has had this problem before and cannot remember how they fixed it. i also no problems using the network before christmas.

i have tried various things such as typing the ip details manually but to no avail.

any help much appreciated, thanks.

TCP/IP stack repair options for use with Windows XP with SP2.

For these commands, Start, Run, CMD to open a command prompt.

Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. netsh int ip reset reset.log

You did note that this was for XP-SP2, which I assumed you were running.

What is the version/patch level for Windows on your machine?
