I recently built a new computer and I'm planning on setting up a Wireless network via the modem, which is upstairs.

I'm planning on using an 802.11g standard, because I was told that it's faster.
So far I've picked out a wireless router and an adapter for the computer downstairs.

Any tips on how to set it up? Am I missing anything?

All help is mucho appreciated....o.
