I just bought a 54g wireless PCI desktop card (belkin) to share the cable high speed internet at my brother's room. I did set up and install the hardware and the software correctly, but unable to connect internet. The popup window shows me that there are 3 availble internet sourses at my area. But when I tried 2 of them, they didn't work out. I saw the icon showing that my comp was online, but it was unable to connect internet when I tried to open my webpage (working offline) The third one left was ok, but just 5.5Mbps and sometime doesn't availble to use

How can I set up and find the best avaible internet souse to use?? How am I know that I'm using the same internet sourse with my brother?? Please help me. Thank you in advances

Which connection do you INTEND to use? If you're seeing 3 access points/routers, there are obviously 2 other people in your area using wireless. As I would expect, those are off limits to you. (Unless you're part of an apartment/homeowners complex that provides wireless connectivity for its tennants?)

Tell us a little more about the wireless access points/routers you're trying to use. Did you set one up? Did your brother it up? Is this a service your complex offers? Or are you just trying to surf on someone else's wireless connection?
