I have a Linksys wireless-b router, minus the wireless adapters or wireless cards.
Is there anyway to configure the wireless router, so it can be used wired?
I use dial up now, going to go cable.
Thank-You

if what you're asking is whether you can JUST use wired connections, the answer is yes. also, you should find everything you need by entering 192.168.1.1 in your address bar. after that if you have problems you can ask for specifics.

You can disable the wireless section of the router to avoid any undesired "sharing" of your connection. :)

On the back of my Linksys wireless-b 2.4GHz broadband router is:
From left to right is--reset button--port that says internet--4 ports that says 1 2 3 4--power...
All ports I mentioned fit the ethernet cable.
I plan on going cable modem, than getting Vonage. I use dial up now.
How do you disable the wireless section of the router?

Your router is a standard router, with a wireless access point built in. By default, the wireless part is disabled. If not, you can go into the router from any of the numbered ports. Using Internet Explorer (Linksys routers don't play nice with Firefox), put 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. There is no username, but the default password is listed in your documentation for the router. Go to the wireless section and turn the radio off. You now have a standard router.

Actually, by default, most wireless routers do NOT disable the wireless capability. As described, you go into the configuration and disable the wireless section, then you have a wired only router.

How do I disable the wireless feature?
Also, where would I get the info to connect the router?
Can I get a manual and cd rom?

Thanks
