What is the best way to clean a flat screen monitor? It's not a flat panel monitor, just a view sonic trinitron style....I got finger smudges and want to know the best cloth/fabic to wipe it with.

I use a clean soft towel and water. It works fine> Turn the monitor off too before you clean it

I'm assuming you are using a tube (CRT) monitor.

Ever hear of Miracle Cloths? These things work great. You don't use any kind of cleaner with them. Just dampen one with tap water, clean the surface, then use a dry one to dry the glass. Your monitor will be perfectly clean. Try them on your car windows also.

You won't believe the job these things do without leaving any streaks.
